What makes the darkness inside fade? What makes you hope for the silver lining cloud? What gives you strength to stand when sadness is your only kin? What makes you breath, live, love and move on?
If nothing else, life teaches us one thing for sure. Each sunrise is different. Some are bright, some are gray and some make you wonder "why". But the bottom line remains, no matter what happens the sun does rise in the end irrespective of how bleak it's radiance may be, or how awaited it may have been.
In love we find peace, in hate, solitude. In others we find hope and in loneliness, ourselves. All these years while I grew up the world taught me humility, in theory of-course. It reasoned how pride was a sin and how the world loves you more if you lose - sympathy is a gateway to all hearts. All this never really makes sense till you host your own show and see people walk in and leave. It's then when you are left alone in the end you realize, the only one you will ever have with you is YOU - it's never a duet, no matter how much you love, no matter how much you care!
It's not as depressing as it sounds. Nothing ever is. "Perception" is the key. When it first came to me I thought I was a masochist, for a while of-course, but then you realize that most things in life are simpler than they actually look. Too optimistic? Maybe. But it helps you know. We wait way longer than required, regret way more than needed. We do things in life and question our own intentions. We get hurt because we trust too much yet we look for faces to blame. Habit is not how I define it, it's "obsession" - an addictive idea that tells us how we are always right.
Pain is not what you feel when people leave, it's when someone makes you realize that maybe, you expected too much. It's the feeling of being unwanted, being uninvited. The idea is to live as per rules, YOUR rules. We spend too much time trying to understand the needs of those who couldn't care enough, people who we assume to be important, people around us, people who we think are close and people who walked out on us without even caring for a last good-bye. I am not being a pessimist blaming the whole race of being heartless and naive. I am being a realist who functions by the law of preservation, who believes that your life will remain only yours - even if you want to share!
Everyone has his own stage show going. Our shows keep colliding, playing parts in each other's. People walk in, people walk out, people stay and people change. But in the end what it all makes is a masterpiece... A work that has no parallel in this infinite universe having multitudinous lives. You are your showman, and this is your show - each second, each word, each breath - irreversible. Make it count!
That is why its always good to have a short memory :)
